Day 7. The Sentosa Express and Lau Pa Sat, Singapore

After lunch, we made our second visit of the week to Sentosa, but instead of travelling by cable car, we chose to travel on the Sentosa Express monorail.

This departs from the third floor of the Vivo City Mall at Harbourside and a return ticket costs $4.  There are three stations on Sentosa and we stayed on until the end of the line at Beach.  From there, we strolled along the shoreline at Siloso.

It was surprisingly quiet along the beach even though the weather was quite good.  After stopping for drinks, we walked back to Imbiah Station to return on the monorail. Travelling on the monorail is free whilst on the island and it’s possible to return to HarbourCity free for those who have arrived at the island via the footbridge.

We decided to eat at Lau Pa Sat again during the evening. It was pleasantly cool with its large ceiling fans, easy to find a table and had a large selection of dishes to choose from. It’s apparently very busy at lunchtimes with office workers from nearby offices but not too busy in the evenings,
