Location:
The Vibe Hotel Adelaide enjoys an excellent central location, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. Positioned within easy walking distance of Adelaide’s key attractions, the hotel is close to shopping precincts, cultural landmarks and a wide range of cafés and restaurants. Whether heading out for a morning stroll, an evening meal or a day of sightseeing, everything is conveniently close.
Arrival and Check-In:

We arrived into Adelaide aboard the luxurious Ghan train from Darwin and took an Uber from the station to the hotel. From the moment we stepped inside the hotel’s stylish lobby it felt very welcoming. We were greeted by a smiling receptionist who enquired if we had travelled far and had ever been to Adelaide before. Our check-in was quick and efficient and soon we were being shown to the nearby lift which would take us up to our room on the 16th floor.
The Room:

We had been booked into one of the beautiful Urban Retreat rooms which definitely lived up to its name. The room was thoughtfully designed, blending modern comfort with elegant styling.

The standout feature was undoubtedly the stunning designer bath positioned in front of the window, offering breathtaking views across the Adelaide city skyline. Soaking in the tub while looking out over the evening city lights was an unforgettable highlight.

The room itself was spacious, immaculately presented and most importantly, very comfortable. With quality furnishings, an extremely comfortable bed and a well equipped bathroom with luxurious Australian O & M brand toiletries, it was blissful. Other room facilities included a minibar, a well stocked hospitality tray with both a kettle and a Nespresso coffee maker, chrome-cast television, ample storage, numerous power points/ USB sockets and bedside reading lamps.

Dining:
The on-site dining options reflected the hotel’s contemporary vibe, offering well-presented dishes made with quality ingredients. Whether enjoying a relaxed breakfast or dining later in the day, the atmosphere was inviting and the service attentive.

We enjoyed breakfast in the hotel’s Storehouse Restaurant each morning. Rather than a buffet, guests are able to select from the à la carte menu which included everything from full Australian cooked breakfasts to smashed avocados on sourdough. With barista made cappuccinos and freshly squeezed orange juice, starting the day at the Vibe Hotel Adelaide was a pleasure.

The Facilities:
The hotel’s heated outdoor pool is a unique feature as it is suspended across one of the lower floors between two buildings. Whilst quite small, it was never crowded when we returned to the hotel late in the afternoons to use it and I also enjoyed relaxing on one of the sun loungers with my book. Adjacent to the pool is a well equipped gym with everything needed for a quick workout.

Other facilities include 24 hour reception, a lobby lounge bar furnished with comfortable chairs, food available throughout the day in the Storehouse Restaurant and fast Wi-Fi that was simple to connect to. Whilst Vibe Adelaide does not have its own car park, secure parking can be arranged nearby through the hotel at a discounted rate allowing unlimited entry and exits.
Out and About:

One of the highlights of staying at Vibe Hotel Adelaide was how easy it was to get out and explore. With so much to see and do within walking distance, we were able to enjoy the city with ease. I recommend checking out my guide to exploring Adelaide at the foot of this post for ideas of how to spend your time in this beautiful South Australian city.
