Your Apartment Bristol – A review

Review: Your Apartment, 3 Frederick Place, Clifton, Bristol

Location

Frederick Place, Clifton, Bristol
Our apartment was located at the end of the street

The accommodation is managed by Your Apartment and located on Frederick Place in the desirable Clifton neighbourhood of Bristol.  This suburb is within easy walking distance of the city centre and features leafy streets, stunning architecture and rows of pastel coloured Georgian terraces.

Arrival and check-in

Your Apartment, Frederick Place, Bristol
The contactless entrance to our apartment

Approximately 24 hours before arrival we received an e-mail providing us with all the information required for a contactless check-in.  Complimentary on-street parking is usually included for guests who book direct with Your Apartment and we had no difficulties in finding a parking space slightly further along the road.  We entered the necessary code to open the front door and a further code to access the door key from outside our apartment door.  Instructions were easy to follow and very detailed, even informing us that the front door was quite stiff to open and might need a slight push.

Our spacious living room

As soon as we entered the apartment we knew immediately that we were going to enjoy an unforgettable, relaxing stay.  Frederick Place has been designed to compliment its original features with a stunningly beautiful interior filled with light streaming through its floor to ceiling Georgian windows.  There was everything we could wish for and it felt like a luxurious home from home.

The office corner is perfect for working away

The apartment has a huge open plan living area with a large TV, sofa and feature fireplace.  One one side of the fireplace there’s a desk and chair, ideal for working away from the office or home.  The Euro’s were taking place at the time of our visit so we soon settled in with tea and biscuits from the complimentary hospitality tray, popped on the television and caught up on the action.

The light and airy living room

The bedroom is connected to the living room by large bi-folding doors.  The bed can be made up as a double or twin and with the settee in the lounge converting into a sofa bed, the apartment can comfortably accommodate up to four people.

The deep mattress was extremely comfortable and within seconds of slipping between the luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen we were sound asleep.  The bedroom faces the rear of the property and was very quiet.

USB and power points were perfectly positioned beside the bedside tables for charging devices overnight and there was ample storage space in the wardrobe and cupboards for our belongings.

A corridor in the entrance lobby leads along to the spacious bathroom which comprises a bath, separate walk-in shower cubicle, toiletries and fluffy towels.

The open-plan kitchen to the rear of the lounge is equipped with a dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave and Nespresso maker.  The cupboards are stocked with a plentiful supply of high quality crockery, pans and utensils with  a circular dining table for eating in or perhaps a game of Scrabble.

The Facilities

The apartment comes complete with super fast Wi-Fi and a smart television enabled for Netflix log-ins.  For longer stays there’s a useful laundry room complete with a washer/dryer, ironing facilities and drying rack.  From a QR code we were able to access a very useful apartment manual detailing instructions for all the appliances and everything else we might need to be aware of.

Overall

Your Apartment, Clifton, Bristol
3 Frederick Place, Clifton

A beautiful apartment in a fashionable part of the city with everything provided for a relaxing stay.  The apartment is on the corner of Frederick Place and even though it was on the ground floor we didn’t experience any street noise at all during our stay.  I would definitely recommend staying here or in one of their many other individually styled apartments in the city as they offer high quality hotel type rooms with additional space and the flexibility of dining in and/or working away from home.  With contactless check-in and departure everything was simple but should you need help the office can easily be contacted by phone at any time.

Bristol is such an interesting city with so many different things to see and do and the apartment we were invited to stay in was beautiful. I wish I could be so creative with interior design in my own house! Hope your week is going well Sam. Marion

Gorgeous apartment! I love to stay in apartments as there’s so much more room. Although I’m usually out exploring for most of the time. Would be lovely to travel again. I have a trip in September to Tallinn but let’s see if I have to postpone it (again). xx

This apartment was gorgeous Suvi and so relaxing to return to after a day of sightseeing. I do hope your Tallinn trip goes ahead in September, I think it will! We’ve just travelled domestically so far this year but keeping a watch on the situation in the hope of travelling further afield like you in the autumn. Marion xx

Love that apartment all set up for longer stays. Another post to catch our imagination and keep us up on what is to be seen of note in Clifton. I believe we have a town of this name in our state too. It is 93 klm west of our Capital City Brisbane

This is fabulous way to have an apartment with all the facilities. I always love this stay vacation. The Clifton Arcade is very historic dating back in time. So much to see and do. Drifting around on the water looks awesome.

Thank you Aiva for taking the time to read and comment on my apartment review. You. are quite right about misleading photos. some places use a very wide angled lens to make rooms appear much larger than they really are and then when you arrive you are disappointed. Not the case with this company thankfully.
